Clinical Supervision

Supportive, ethical, and reflective supervision for pre-licensed therapists.

Clinical Supervision

Becoming a therapist is one of the most meaningful, humbling, and vulnerable things you can do — and supervision is a space where you should be able to show up fully, ask questions without fear, and grow into your voice as a clinician.

I offer supervision that’s collaborative, nonjudgmental, and rooted in curiosity and care — because that’s how I believe we grow best. This isn’t about being the expert in the room — it’s about helping you build confidence, clinical depth, and a solid ethical foundation.

Why I’m a Good Fit as a Supervisor

I’ve worked in the social services and mental health field for over 20 years — across schools, community programs, clinical settings, and with people in many stages of life. That experience brings not only knowledge, but a deep respect for how complex, layered, and personal this work can be.

I bring:

  • Extensive knowledge in trauma-informed care and how it applies to both clients and clinicians

  • A relational, grounded approach to supervision that balances reflection with real-world application

  • A strong understanding of burnout, boundaries, and how to build a sustainable practice

  • A calm, steady presence — with a healthy dose of humor and compassion

My goal is to support your growth while helping you feel grounded, supported, and confident as you navigate both the clinical and emotional sides of becoming a therapist.

What You Can Expect

In supervision with me, we’ll:

  • Talk through clinical cases, stuck points, and client dynamics with honesty and care

  • Explore your unique style and voice as a therapist

  • Reflect on countertransference, boundaries, and the “messy middle” of doing this work

  • Process the emotional weight of holding space for others

  • Navigate challenges with clarity, compassion, and a bit of humor

  • Laugh sometimes. Probably often.

Supervision with me is real, relational, and steady. We’ll focus on helping you feel more grounded in your decisions, confident in your clinical work, and supported in your own growth.

Who I Supervise

I offer individual clinical supervision for:

  • Social workers pursuing LCSW licensure

  • Counselors pursing their clinical licensure

  • Pre-licensed clinicians wanting additional support or consultation

My clinical background includes working with teens, young adults, parents, and women navigating anxiety, grief (including ambiguous grief), identity shifts, burnout, and major life transitions. I work from a relational, client-centered approach — and I bring a calm, supportive presence (plus a therapy dog named Kevin, who’s always happy to join in).

What I Believe About Supervision

You don’t have to know everything.
You’re allowed to not have it all figured out.
Your instincts matter — and they’ll only get stronger with reflection, practice, and guidance.
You deserve supervision that’s steady, supportive, and honest.
