Therapy for Parents

A safe place for your teen

And peace of mind for you

This Stage Is Big

For them · and for you.

Raising a teenager can feel like trying to follow instructions for something that didn’t come with a manual. One minute you’re amazed by who they’re becoming - their humor, their depth, their independence. The next, you’re walking on eggshells, unsure how to support them, terrified of getting it wrong, and wondering when parenting got so hard.

I see you.

I’m a therapist - and I’m also a parent to teenagers. I know firsthand how beautiful and wild this stage can be. It’s an amazing time, full of growth and transformation.

But it’s also a lot.
There’s no clear path, and so often, it feels like the stakes are high and the support is low.

You’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out all by yourself.

How I Help Teens

In my work as a teen therapist, I offer a compassionate, grounded space where middle and high schoolers can:

  • Manage anxiety, overwhelm, or big emotions

  • Build confidence, self-awareness, and self-worth

  • Navigate social dynamics, school pressure, and identity

  • Learn tools for emotional regulation and resilience

Therapy is where your teen doesn’t have to be perfect — they just get to be real. And from that place, real growth happens.

Therapy for You, Too

Supporting a teenager can stir up so much - fear, grief, frustration, self-doubt, even exhaustion. Sometimes parents need space to process everything they’re holding: the guilt, the worry, the changes in the relationship, or even their own past.

That’s why I also offer individual therapy for parents.

Whether you’re navigating parenting challenges, your own mental health, or just trying to stay steady while raising a teen - you deserve support too.

Taking care of yourself is one of the most powerful ways you can care for your child.

A Partner You Can Trust

You want to do this right.
But “right” can feel impossible to pin down.

My role is to support your teen - and also support you. That might include:

  • Ongoing check-ins (with your teen’s permission)

  • Parent-only sessions

  • Tools to improve communication and connection

  • Space to just breathe and feel heard

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to show up. I’ll meet you there.

Why I Do This Work

I still remember what it was like to be a teenager. And I’ve promised myself - both as a therapist and a parent - that I’d never forget that feeling.

Teenagers don’t need to be “fixed.”
They need someone who sees the whole of them and creates space for whatever feels too big or messy to say out loud.

That’s what I’m here to do - for your teen, and for you.

And yes, Kevin (my therapy dog) will be there too. He’s very good at soft landings.

You’re Doing Better Than You Think

Whether you're here for your teen, yourself, or both - you’re in the right place.
